\u201cA Trieste mi piaceva arrivare\u2026\u201d (\u201cIn Trieste I liked to arrive\u2026\u201d), Arturo Benvenuti’s verse captures perfectly the spirit by which the artists, or their heirs, accepted the University’s invitation to participate in its first centenary celebrations by contributing with new donations to enrich its art collection. Thirty-five artists participated and 100 works of art were donated. The value of the project was underlined by the official ceremony held in the Aula Magna in the presence of the Rector, Professor Roberto Di Lenarda. Art historians and donors took turns in presenting the individual artists and the donated works: Tullio Vietri, with his six paintings, was presented by historian and art critic Roberto Costella, newly appointed President of Oderzo Cultura. Professor Bruno Callegher, head of the project, also presented the programme for the upcoming months, which includes the publication of the pieces on the University’s portal in the near future, followed by exhibition activities in the course of 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The six pieces by Tullio Vietri \u2013 donated by his wife Anna Maria Reggiani and his daughter Silvia \u2013 cover the time span of five decades, from the early 1960s to the early 2000s.<\/div>\n

The Atelier<\/h2>\n

Tullio Vietri<\/p>\n

The atelier preserves the family\u2019s rich pictorial and graphic collection (approximately 1,500 pieces, between paintings and graphics). It periodically organizes temporary exhibitions within its spaces, in order to promote knowledge about the collection, displaying the works in rotation.<\/p>\n

It is located in Bologna in Via Saragozza 135 under the historic portico of San Luca.
The Atelier can be visited, by appointment, from October to June. Guided tours available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Museum<\/h2>\n

Tullio Vietri<\/p>\n

The Biblioteca Civica, managed by the Oderzo Cultura Foundation, displays the core of the collection owned by the Municipality of Oderzo, by the artist\u2019s behest, custodian of his artworks (about 4000 pieces including paintings and graphics).<\/p>\n

It is located in Oderzo (TV) in Via Garibaldi 80 at the Civic Library.
It can be visited during library opening hours and by appointment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
