Concluded events to be remembered for the special significance they have in the life of the artist and his atelier
The awarding of the mark “Case e studi delle persone illustri dell’Emilia-Romagna” (“Houses and Studies of Illustrious Personalities of Emilia-Romagna”) is an important first step in the implementation of the regional law 10/02/22 aimed at enhancing and supporting sites recognised as being of cultural relevance.
The Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna Region participates in the Art City 2021 programme, promoted by the Municipality of Bologna from May 7 to May 9, proposing an exhibition dedicated to Tullio Vietri, “The art in information”, in its exhibition spaces. The exhibition will remain open until May 20.
Three years after his demise, the Municipality of Oderzo, in collaboration with the Fondazione Oderzo Cultura, is dedicating the first major retrospective to Tullio Vietri: “Vietri, cronache italiane 1958-2008” (“Vietri, Italian chronicles 1958-2008”). Eighty-four works are on display, belonging to the collection of the Municipality of Oderzo and enriched by a few works on loan from the artist’s family and collectors.
In March 2014, in Gorizia, inauguration of Tullio Vietri’s solo exhibition “Sono, persone non cose” (“They are, people not things”) in the halls of the Biblioteca Statale Isontina; replica of the exhibition presented in 2012 in the Biblioteca Civica in Pordenone, as part of the literary event “Pordenone legge” (“Pordenone reads”).
In September 2012, is inaugurated in Pordenone the exhibition “Sono, persone non cose” (“They are, people not things”) by Tullio Vietri. The exhibition is proposed by the Biblioteca Civica in Pordenone, as part of the literary event “Pordenone legge, festa del libro con gli autori” (“Pordenone reads, book festival with authors”).
